HEAD START, EARLY HEAD START
is a federally funded preschool program, which is provided in your community by
Okanogan County Child Development Association. Head Start helps all children
succeed including children with special needs and disabilities. Most children in
Head Start are between the ages of three and five years old.
EARLY HEAD START is a federally

Development Association. We are a family centered, home-based and center-based
program, serving low-income expectant mothers, infants or toddlers and their
ECEAP: The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a
whole-child, family-focused preschool program designed to help low-income and
at-risk children and their families succeed in school and life. Four- and
three-year-old children and their families that are at 110% of the Federal
Poverty Level are eligible. This includes families receiving public assistance,
children in foster care, and parents with limited incomes who are working or in
